BPCL signed MoU with Government of Kerala
New Delhi, August 21, 2025: BPCL signed an MoU for two community projects — one for road connectivity and one for cancer care with the Government of Kerala in the presence of Shri Pinarayi Vijayan, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Kerala, and Shri Sanjay Khanna, Director (Refineries) with Additional Charge of Chairman & Managing Director, BPCL, along with Shri Sankar M, Executive Director, BPCL Kochi Refinery, state ministers, and senior government officials, at the Government Secretariat, Thiruvananthapuram.

The MoU envisages the construction of a four-lane road to the Ambalamugal Industrial Hub, Ernakulam, including a new bridge over the Chitrapuzha River, as well as the establishment of an Amenity Centre at the Cochin Cancer Research Centre (CCRC), Kochi. The facility will support patients and provide accommodation for around 185 relatives of those undergoing treatment.
