CIL signs MoU with Mineral Resources Development, MP Govt and MP State Mining Corporation Limited
New Delhi, August 25, 2025: Maharatna Coal PSU, Coal India Limited (CIL), Mineral Resources Development, Govt. of Madhya Pradesh (through Directorate of Geology and Mining), and Madhya Pradesh State Mining Corporation Limited have executed a Non-Binding Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on 23.08.2025 at Katni, Madhya Pradesh.
The agreement is to cooperate and collaborate in the field of exploration & exploitation of critical minerals and other minerals of mutual interest in Madhya Pradesh.
The MoU was signed in the presence of Dr. Mohan Yadav, Hon'ble Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, during the Madhya Pradesh Mining Conclave 2.0, held in Katni, Madhya Pradesh.
With this, the shares of Coal India are trading higher by 1.40% at Rs 379.70 at BSE.
