GAIL (India) Limited and Rashtriya Chemicals and Fertilizers Limited (RCF) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for setting up a gas-based fertilizer project in Maharashtra.

This collaboration aims to leverage GAIL’s natural gas expertise and RCF’s fertilizer manufacturing capabilities to develop a new gas-based fertilizer facility in the state.
The project is expected to strengthen India’s domestic fertilizer production capacity and support the Government’s vision of reducing import dependence in the fertilizer sector.
