MCL signs three MoU with District Administration of Jharsuguda and Dhenkanal
These Rs 18 crore CSR initiatives will focus on rejuvenating water bodies, improving groundwater, and developing eco-parks to enhance local ecosystems and promote environmental education.
On the occasion of World Environment Day 2025, the Coal India’s subsidiary Mahanadi Coalfields Ltd has signed three key MoU with the district administration of Jharsuguda and Dhenkanal, focused on rejuvenation of natural water bodies, improving groundwater recharge and the development of eco-parks.
The MoU were signed in the presence of Shri Keshav Rao, Director (HR), CVO and other Functional Directors of MCL. With an investment of Rs 18 crores, MCL, under its CSR initiative aims to enhance local ecosystems and promote environmental education through these projects.
