New Delhi: ONGC’s Advanced Training Institute (ATI), Goa, has signed a Memorandum of Collaboration with the National Fire Service College (NFSC), Nagpur, to further strengthen specialised training in fire safety, emergency response, and crisis preparedness.

The collaboration will enable structured knowledge exchange, advanced training modules, and capacity building to enhance readiness across complex and high-risk operating environments.

The Memorandum was signed on 18 December 2025 by Director, NFSC, Nagpur, N.B. Shingane, and Executive Director-Chief, ATI Goa, Saket Gupta, reaffirming a shared commitment to building resilient, skilled and future-ready safety professionals in the energy sector.

The main project of ONGC in Goa revolves around its Institute of Petroleum Safety, Health, and Environment Management (IPSHEM), known as ATI-ONGC (Advanced Training Institute), transforming it into a world-class training hub with facilities like a sea survival centre, wellhead platform simulator, and convention centre, preparing personnel for offshore safety and energy needs.
