Bharat Dynamics Extends D.V. Srinivas Rao’s Additional Charge as Director (Production)
Hyderabad, February 11, 2026: Defence PSU Bharat Dynamics Limited (BDL) has informed stock exchanges that the Ministry of Defence has extended the additional charge of Director (Production) to Shri D.V. Srinivas Rao, Director (Technical), with effect from January 1, 2026.
In a regulatory filing to the NSE (BDL) and BSE (541143), BDL stated that the Ministry of Defence, Department of Defence Production, through its letter dated February 4, 2026, conveyed approval of the Appointment Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) for the extension.

Background
This extension is in continuation of the earlier order issued by the Ministry of Defence in September 2025. The move ensures continuity in leadership in the production vertical of BDL, a key defence public sector undertaking under the Ministry of Defence.
BDL plays a critical role in manufacturing guided missile systems and allied defence equipment for the Indian Armed Forces.
