Commodore VMD Jagannath takes charge as Command of INS Tunir
He is an alumnus of the Defence Services Staff College DSSC Wellington and the College of Defence Management CDM Secunderabad.
Commodore VMD Jagannath has assumed the command of INS Tunir and also charge of Senior Officer Karanja on 28 August 2025, at a ceremonial parade held at Naval Station Karanja.
The officer holds a PhD in Management and an M.Tech in Computer Science from IIT Kanpur, Commodore Jagannath has held key operational, dockyard, training, and staff roles.
He is an alumnus of the Defence Services Staff College DSSC Wellington and the College of Defence Management CDM Secunderabad.
