Pushp Kumar Nayar Recommended as BPCL Director (HR) by PESB
New Delhi, February 24, 2026: The Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) has recommended Shri Pushp Kumar Nayar for appointment as Director (Human Resources) of Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL), a Schedule ‘A’ Maharatna Central Public Sector Enterprise.
The recommendation was made in Minute No. 1 of PESB Meeting No. 16/2026, held at 08:45 AM on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, following a comprehensive selection process involving senior HR leaders from leading public sector organisations.

Shri Pushp Kumar Nayar is currently serving as Executive Director (HRD) at BPCL. With extensive experience in human resource development, organisational strategy, leadership development, and workforce transformation, he emerged as the top choice among a highly competitive panel of candidates.
His recommendation comes at a crucial time as BPCL continues to strengthen its human capital strategy amid expansion, digital transformation, and evolving energy market dynamics.
