Shri Rajkumar Dubey nominated as Chairman of Indraprastha Gas Ltd
The Board of Directors of the Indraprastha Gas Ltd (IGL) has approved the Appointment of Shri Rajkumar Dubey as Chairman of the Company w.e.f. May 01, 2025 and the Cessation of Shri Sukhmal Kumar Jain as Chairman of the Company w.e.f. May 01, 2025.
New Delhi: The Board of Directors of the Indraprastha Gas Ltd (IGL) has approved the Appointment of Shri Rajkumar Dubey as Chairman of the Company w.e.f. May 01, 2025 and the Cessation of Shri Sukhmal Kumar Jain as Chairman of the Company w.e.f. May 01, 2025.
As per the Articles of Association of the Company, GAIL and BPCL, Promoter Companies of IGL, nominate Chairman of the Board of IGL, on a rotational basis for a term of two years. Shri Sukhmal Kumar Jain was appointed as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of IGL w.e.f. January 14, 2025.

However, due to superannuation of Shri Sukhmal Kumar Jain from BPCL, Shri Rajkumar Dubey has been nominated by BPCL as the Chairman of IGL.
Shri Rajkumar Dubey is Director (HR) with Additional charge of Director (Marketing) at BPCL and Nominated as Chairman of IGL by BPCL.
Shri Rajkumar Dubey is an alumnus of NIT Allahabad with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA from the International Centre for Promotion of Enterprises in Slovenia. He has over 36 years of industry experience in Business and Human Capital Development.
He has led strategic organizational development initiatives impacting over 400 locations and 7,500 people, working closely with international consultants on organization restructuring, visioning, and HR planning.
He has successfully led several leadership positions and concluded various critical and challenging assignments across various business verticals in Indian Oil Corporation Ltd before taking over as Director (HR) BPCL on 01 .05.2023. As Director (HR), BPCL he has initiated several path-breaking initiatives in the Talent Management and Employee Wellness fields which are closest to his heart.
