Eastern Coalfields Ltd installed a state-of-the-art ENT equipment
New Delhi: Eastern Coalfields Ltd. has installed a state-of-the-art audiometry device “Impedance Audiometer” along with “Pure Tone Audiometer” at the ENT Department of its Central Hospital, Kalla.
This device facilitates testing of Tone Decay, Small Increment Sensitivity Index (SISI), Alternate Binaural Loudness Balance ( ABLB), Speech Audiometry and Stengers test.
These tests not only help in ENT treatment, but also help in early detection of neurological and neurotological disorders. Such tests are available for the first time in ECL.
