MD and CEO of Ujjivan Small Finance Bank Nitin Chugh resigns
Nitin Chugh tendering his resignation from the position of Managing Director and CEO of the Bank w.e.f. close of business hours on September 30, 2021.
New Delhi: Ujjivan Small Finance Bank on Thursday said that the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer Mr. Nitin Chugh submits his resignation letter from his position.
The bank said in a regulatory filing on August 19, 2021, " "We hereby inform you that the bank has received a letter dated August 18, 2021, from Mr. Nitin Chugh tendering his resignation from the position of Managing Director and CEO of the Bank w.e.f. close of business hours on September 30, 2021."
Bank also mentioned that Mr. Chung has also confirmed his resignation and resigning due to his personal reasons. Most probably the tenure of Mr. Chung will end in September, as the bank mentioned that his tenure would also end after his resignation comes into effect.

Nitin Chugh was with the bank as the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer from December 01, 2019. He holds a bachelor’s degree in technology (electrical engineering) from the National Institute of Technology, Kurukshetra, and a professional diploma in marketing management from the All India Management Association. He has previously worked with HDFC Bank Limited, Standard Chartered Bank, HCL Limited, and Modi Xerox Limited.
