NCL was conferred with prestigious Coal Minister-2020 award
New Delhi: Hon'ble Minister of Coal, Mines and Parliamentary Affairs, Government of India, Shri Pralhad Joshi conferred the NCL with the prestigious 'Coal Minister-2020' award on Thursday at New Delhi for outstanding performance in production and productivity.
CMD Shri P K Sinha and Director(Personnel) Shri Bimlendu Kumar received this award on behalf of NCL.
The Minister also inaugurated a new Coal Handling Plant (CHP) at Krishnashila Coal Project of NCL via video conferencing. Having 4 million tonnes per annum (MTPA) coal handing capacity, this state of the art CHP will transport coal through Conveyor Belts and Rapid Loading system to Anpara Thermal Power Station (ATPS) of Uttar Pradesh RajyaVidyutUtpadanNigam Limited and Renusagar Power Division of Hindalco.
