NFL achieves highest-ever fertilizer Sale in 2019-20
New Delhi: NFL achieves Highest-ever Fertilizer Sale in 2019-20, 5th time in a row. NFL has set a new benchmark by recording total Fertilizer Sale of more than 57 Lakh MT of all products beating its prvevious best of 48.95 Lakh MT achieved during 2018-19.
With this, company achieved a sale growth of 16.2% over the previous year, against the industry sale growth of just 6.17%. The sustained sale growth of NFL has helped in establishing it's position of second highest marketer of fertilizers in country.
NFL's sale of fertilisers is more than that of all the fertiliser PSUs put together.A big push, as in previous years, came from imported fertilizers, including Urea imported in Govt account. Company despatched more than 21 Lakh MT of imported fertilisers including 12 Lakh MT of Urea on Government account during 2019-20.
Highly satisfied at the achievement, Shri Manoj Mishra, CMD congratulated all employees of the company. He was obviously generous in appreciating the marketing team who have performed exceedingly well inspite of challenging market scenario."Kudos to our excellent Marketing Team", commented Shri Mishra in his tweet today.
