NEW DELHI- NRDC signed license agreement with M/s. This agreement has been signed with Hexorp Industries Pvt Ltd, Nainital for transfer of technology “A Process for Manufacture of Graphene from Waste Plastic”, a technology developed by Kumaun University in support of environmental protection initiative.
National Research Development Corporation (NRDC) was established in 1953 by the Government of India, with the primary objective of promoting, developing and commercializing technologies/knowledge/inventions/patents/processes emanating from various National R&D Institutes/Universities was and is presently functioning under the administrative control of the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research, Ministry of Science and Technology.
During the last six decades of its existence and in pursuance of its corporate goals, NRDC has forged strong links with the scientific and industrial community in India and abroad and has developed a wide network of research institutions, in academia and industry and their laboratories.
Made formal arrangements with them for commercialization of the developed knowledge and now covers almost all of the chemical industries including agriculture and agro-processing, pesticides, drugs and pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, metallurgy, electronics and instrumentation, building materials, mechanical, electrical and electronics etc.
Recognized as a large repository of wide range of technologies spread across all sectors.
It has licensed indigenous technology to over 4800 entrepreneurs and helped set up a large number of small and medium scale industries.
