New Delhi: Minister for Power and New & Renewable Energy Shri Raj Kumar Singh on Monday reviewed the overall progress, phase-wise timelines, and integrated planning mechanisms of construction of the Eco Park at Badarpur Thermal Power Station land with the officers of the Ministry of Power, Government of India, and Chairman and Managing Director of NTPC Limited, in the presence of the Lieutenant Governor of Delhi, Shri Anil Baijal.

The conceptualisation of what would be Asia’s biggest Eco Park was done in 2017 and it will be completed this year. 


This will be the country's largest eco-park to surround over a total of 885 acres of land on the land of Badarpur Thermal Power Station. National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC) is developing it with the permission of the Delhi Development Authority.
