SNBNCBS and IISER signed MoU for institutional collaboration
Kolkata: S.N. Bose National Centre for Basic Sciences, Kolkata, India & Indian Institute of Science Education and Research- Kolkata India signed Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on December 16, 2020, at the Campus of the S.N Bose Centre.
SNBNCBS & IISER-K have agreed for institutional collaboration in research, resource sharing & Faculty Exchange Programme. The primary objective is to promote interaction and collaboration between faculty and students of the two institutions to carry out joint research programmes / joint supervision of doctoral students on a reciprocal basis and collaborative research projects. In this programme the joint Ph.D. scholars will be spending their reach tenure in both the institute, as per the requirement of the research project.
The proposed Joint Ph.D. programme to be started in January 2021 & will be extremely beneficial for the students who will be trained in two premier scientific research institutes.
