Shri Pralhad Joshi inaugurates an Odisha COVID hospital in Bhubaneswar
Bhubaneswar: Shri. Pralhad Joshi, Hon’ble Minister of Coal, Mines & Parliamentary Affairs inaugurated an “Odisha COVID Hospital” in Bhubaneswar, Odisha through video conferencing, along with Shri. Naveen Patnaik, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Odisha and Shri. Dharmendra Pradhan, Hon’ble Minister of Petroleum & Natural Gas and Steel, Government of India.
Coal India’s subsidiary company Mahanadi Coalfields Ltd. (MCL) is fully funding the “Odisha COVID Hospital” India’s second largest COVID19 hospital, established in Bhubaneswar, Odisha. The 500 bedded super specialty hospital has been set up by the Government of Odisha. The hospital has 25 intensive care unit (ICU) beds with ventilators. MCL will bear all the expenses of this dedicated #COVID hospital including cost of treatment of the patients. MCL has already released Rs. 7.31 crores as immediate advance for uninterrupted running of the hospital. The hospital is a healthcare asset for the people of Odisha.
