Team EIL at BS-VI Project of MRPL successfully achieves
New Delhi: Team EIL at BS-VI Project of MRPL achieves a key milestone with the revamp of SWS-II Unit and successfully achieved its Mechanical Completion during shutdown (till submission of F-III). With the implementation of the revamp works, the capacity of the existing SWS-II has been revamped from 28.3 TPH to 45 TPH which removes the Acid Gas, H2S rich gas from the sour water generated from existing HCU-I, GOHDS (Gas Oil Hydro-desulphurization Unit) & OMS area of the refinery, for meeting the stripped sour water quality at revamped capacity. The target was met despite the constrains of the COVID19 pandemic lockdown and its consequent impact on labour and supply chains.
