AAI set up Integrity club in State UT across India now plan in schools
New Delhi. Airports Authority of India is observing Vigilance Awareness Week 2019 from 28th October 2019 to 02nd November 2019, with theme “Integrity – A way of Life” across allits airports and establishments. An event was organized on 28th October, 2019 at AAI’s Corporate Headquarters, which was inaugurated by Sh. Anuj Aggarwal, Chairman, AAI in the august presence of Sh. I.N. Murthy, Member(Operations), Sh. A K Pathak, Member(Planning), Sh. Vineet Gulati, Member (ANS), Sh. J. K.Goel, ED(HR) & Sh. Suresh N.Borkar, GM(Vig). The Integrity Pledge was administered by the Chairman to Officersand Employees of AAI on this occasion.
In address, Chairman, AAI laid emphasis on importance of Vigilance as an effective maintenance tool. He advised AAI airports to increase awareness amongst public and employees about Preventive Vigilance. Chairman also said that the objective of VAW is to sensitize all towards Preventive Vigilance and encourage them to support the fight against corruption
On this occasion, Shri. Suresh Borkar, GM(Vigilance), AAI highlighted the achievements of Vigilance Directorate in the last one year including establishment of New Integrity Clubs in various Schools including Kendriya Vidyalayas across the length and breadth of our country, to impart moral education to school students. AAI has successfully established at least one Integrity club in each State/UT across India.
