Additional Secretary Coal and Chairman CIL inspected the operations at Gevra and reviewed SECL’s performance.

New Delhi: Shri M. Nagaraju, Additional Secretary, Ministry of Coal, and Shri P.M. Prasad, Chairman, Coal India, visited Gevra, the leading mine of Coal India subsidiary, SECL.
Additional Secretary Coal and Chairman CIL inspected the operations at Gevra and reviewed SECL’s performance. Shri Prem Sagar Mishra, CMD, SECL, along with senior management of SECL were present on the occasion.

Notably, Gevra is poised to become Asia's largest coal mine, having received clearance to produce 70 MT annually recently.
