New Delhi: Yet another new addition to the multi-speciality VK-NRL Hospital. The Medical Gas Pipeline System of the hospital was inaugurated by the Chairman-Coordination Committee, VK-NRL Hospital, Shri Romen Sharma.
With a project cost of INR 1.65 crore, the plant is expected to provide a safe, convenient, cost-effective and quality treatment facility to the patients.
The concept of Vivekananda Kendra and Numaligarh Refinery hospital project stemmed from this particular vision of Swami Vivekananda as was being conceived by the former Managing Director of Numaligarh Refinary Ltd. Shri Ranjit Kumar Dutta, who had initially given shape to the idea of involvement of an NGO like that Vivekananda Kendra with its widespread reputation of being a dedicated service organization which has contributed very significantly in the sphere of education in the North East under the leadership of its present Vice President Mananiya A.K. Balakrisnanji.
The Hospital service in the form of OPD was started from April 1998 with one Doctor and now there are various services got commissioned since this hospital formed.
