Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE) in association with the National Power Training Institute (NPTI) organized the Sixth training workshop (Phase- III) to train the officials of Banks/NBFC’s on Energy Efficiency Financing.

NEW DELHI- Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE) in association with the National Power Training Institute (NPTI) organized the Sixth training workshop (Phase- III) to train the officials of Banks/NBFC’s on “Energy Efficiency Financing” during 16 -17 March, 2023 at NPTI (NER), Guwahati, Assam.
Total 23 officials from different banks viz. Power Finance Corporation, State Bank of India, Indian Bank, Punjab National Bank, Bank of India, Bank of Maharashtra, Central Bank of India, Canara Bank, Yes Bank and EXIM Bank participated in this workshop.
This workshop covered various significant features of energy efficiency projects, business models and grading of EE Projects, EE programs being run by Assam-SDA and investment potential of EE in Assam, Technical & Financial appraisal of EE project including case studies, etc. and also discussed energy efficiency schemes of BEE.
As a part of training workshop, the trainees visited M/s Radisson Blu Hotel, Guwahati on 16th March, 2023. The team of FIs visited the BMS (Building Management System) and maintenance Deptt. of the Hotel where EE technologies have been adopted and participated in discussion.
