Bharat Petroleum awarded Runners Up Trophy for Swachhata Pakhwada
New Delhi: Bharat Petroleum is awarded Runners Up Trophy for Swachhata Pakhwada and Swachhata Hi Seva Abhiyaan from the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas for undertaking more than 79,000 activities during the peak of lockdown, reaching out to more than 62 lakh people through various initiatives such as cleanliness drives, multiple competitions on the necessity of Swachhta during Covid-19 pandemic.
Besides, more than 2 lakh trees were planted, more than 3 lakh hygiene kits comprising of masks, sanitizers, etc distributed, and around 600 webinars and video conferences organized, across the length and breadth of our network.
In a ceremony held today, these awards were received by Shri K. Padmakar, Chairman & Managing Director virtually, and Shri M. A. Khan, Executive Director (Corporate Coordination & Development) in Delhi from Hon’ble Minister of Petroleum & Natural Gas and Steel, Shri Dharmendra Pradhan.
