BHEL received order from Adani Power Limited
Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) has received an order from Adani Power Limited for setting up the 2x800 MW Raigarh Phase-II Thermal Power Plant at Raigarh, Chhattisgarh.
The order has been received for the Supply of equipment (Boiler, Turbine, Generator) and supervision of Erection & Commissioning for a 2x800 MW power project based on supercritical technology at Raigarh Phase II, Chhattisgarh. The boiler and Turbine Generator are to be manufactured at BHEL’s Trichy and Haridwar plants respectively.
The order has been categorized under the Domestic entity. While, the order has been made to supply equipment like Boiler, Turbine, Generator, and associated auxiliaries along with control and instrumentation along with the Supervision of Erection & Commissioning.

The shares of the company are trading in the green zone, up by 1.54% at Rs 246.85. The PSU giant is the largest government-owned power generation equipment manufacturer.
