BHEL Tiruchirappalli unit sanitized the neighboring panchayat area
Tiruchirappalli: In order to prevent the spread of COVID-19, the in-house Fire Service department of BHEL’s Tiruchirappalli unit sanitised the neighbouring panchayat area of Krishnasamuthiram, Tiruverumbur Taluk, Trichy District. The total area covered was more than 700 acres, comprising over 3000 houses with a total population of nearly 18000 residents.
BHEL’s efforts were highly appreciated by the residents and the President of the Krishnasamuthiram Panchayat.
Notably, next to vegetables, the highest movement of vehicles in the township is of gas cylinders. Hence special care is also being taken to sanitise gas cylinder vehicles and the godown.
