BSE listed Units M-Cap surpasses Rs 400 lakh crore
This is the first time that the market capitalization of BSE-listed companies has surpassed the Rs 400 lakh crore milestone.
The market capitalization of companies listed on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) has reached an all-time high of Rs 401.10 lakh crore, attributed to a record-breaking rally in the stock market.
This is the first time that the market capitalization of BSE-listed companies has surpassed the Rs 400 lakh crore milestone. In early trade, the 30-share BSE Sensex benchmark reached a new record high of 74,673.84, jumping 425.62 points.

This comes after the market capitalization of BSE-listed firms crossed the Rs 300-lakh-crore milestone in July of the previous year.

The highest profit intakers from the Sensex basket were Mahindra & Mahindra, Maruti, Tata Steel, Bajaj Finserv, Power Grid, Reliance Industries, Axis Bank, and JSW Steel. Wipro, Nestle, HDFC Bank, and Bajaj Finance were among the laggards. According to exchange data, Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) bought equities worth Rs 1,659.27 crore on Friday. The global oil benchmark, Brent crude, declined 1.36 percent to USD 89.93 a barrel.
