Chairman CIL lays foundation stone for parijat vatika
KOLKATA. Shri. Anil Kumar Jha, Chairman, CIL laid the foundation stone for ‘Parijat Vatika’, a garden to be developed in the Coal India Corporate Office campus. Dr. Nisha Thakur, Smt. Mahima Soni, Shri. Binay Dayal, Director (Technical), CIL, Shri. R. P. Srivastava, Director (P& IR), CIL, Shri. Sanjiv Soni, Director (Finance), CIL, Shri. S. N. Tiwari, Director (Marketing), CIL and Shri. Saroj Kumar Sadangi, CVO, CIL were also present on the occasion.
‘Parijat Vatika’ will be developed over an area of 7886.64 Sqm by West Bengal Forest Development Corporation Ltd (WBFDCL). The garden will be planted with Nyctanthes arbor-tristis, the night-flowering jasmine (parijat), besides flowering plants from Southeast Asia. The garden will have a walking track & gazebos to provide shade & shelter with soft illumination to add to the ambience.
