CIL Aims to Install 300 MW Solar Power Capacity by Fiscal Year End, Says Chairman
Shri Prasad asserted that Coal India is steadfastly pursuing its objectives in all aspects of mining operations.

New Delhi: Coal India is adopting responsible practices from mine to market and is actively using clean coal technologies, elevating safety standards and the quality of coal, said Shri P. M. Prasad, Chairman, Coal India Ltd. (CIL), at the “Coal Log India (CLI) 2023,” an International Conference & Expo organized on the theme “Role of Coal - Transition to Net Zero” in Kolkata.

Read Also : REC signs loan agreement with RUMSLHe also shared that, as part of its commitment to achieve net zero emissions, CIL plans to install 300 MW of solar power capacity by the end of the current financial year, with a larger goal of installing 3000 MW within the next two to three years.
Chairman, CIL also visited the Expo and took a keen interest in the products and technology showcased in the exhibition.
