CMD, NHPC congratulates NHPC Women's Carrom Team
The NHPC Women's team had secured 2nd place in the Women's Team Event.
New Delhi: NHPC's Women's Carrom team participated in the 24th Inter CPSU carrom tournament which was held recently. Sh. A.K. Singh, Chairman, and Managing Director, National Hydroelectric Power Corporation congratulated the Women's Carrom team for their commendable performance at the tournament. The NHPC Women's team had secured 2nd place in the Women's Team Event.
The team of Ms. Purva Maini, (Asst. Programmer) & Ms. Anju Marwah (Pvt. Secy.) from the Corporate Office also secured the 2nd position in the Women's Doubles Event. Further, Ms. Anju Marwah & Ms. Purva Maini finished 3rd & 4th, respectively in the Women's Singles Event of the tournament.
NHPC strongly believes in Women Empowerment & constantly encourages its women employees to participate & excel in various fields & especially in sporting activities.
