A.K. Singh, CMD, NHPC inaugurates 500 KWp Grid Connected Solar Power Plant at Dulhasti Power Station, J&K

Jammu and Kashmir: Shri A.K. Singh, Chairman, and Managing Director, National Hydroelectric Power Corporation on his visit to J&K inaugurated a 500KWp Grid Connected solar power plant installed by NHPC's 390 MW Dulhasti Power Station (J&K) at Semana residential complex on 27.06.2021.
CMD, NHPC inspected the power plant which is estimated to generate 657000 kWh power per year. CMD, NHPC also visited the proposed site of the 258 MW Dulhasti-Il Hydroelectric Project & took stock of the progress of ongoing works related to the project.
He further inspected the powerhouse of Dulhasti Power Station and inspected the operation & maintenance works of a powerhouse.
Dul Hasti is a 390 MW hydroelectric power plant in the Kishtwar district of Jammu and Kashmir, India built by NHPC. The power plant is a run-of-the-river type on the Chenab River, in the Kishtwar region, a rugged, mountainous section of the Himalayas, and several hundred kilometers from larger cities.
