CMD, NHPC meets Shri Sonam Lama Hon'ble Minister of RMD, Govt. of Sikkim

Sikkim: Shri A.K. Singh. CMD, NHPC made a visit a Sikkim on 22.01.2021 along with Shri Y.K. Chaubey, Director (Technical), NHPC. In his maiden visit to Sikkim after taking over charge as CMD, NHPC, Shri A.K. Singh met Shri Sonam Lama, Hon'ble Minister of Rural Management & Development, Govt. of Sikkim, and discussed various pending issues related to the 520 MW Teesta-IV HE Project in Sikkim. CMD, NHPC also apprised the Hon'ble Minister on the status of other NHPC projects in Sikkim including the 500 MW Teesta-VI Project. The Hon'ble Minister assured his full support and cooperation to NHPC

Earlier upon their arrival, CMD, NHPC, and Director (Technical) were given a warm welcome by Shri D Chattopadhyay, Executive Director: Siliguri Region, NHPC Shri Sahadev Khatua, General Manager. Teesta-V Power Station, Shri Sandeep Kumar, CEO of Teesta-VI HE Project, and other senior officers of NHPC at Gangtok.
