CMD WAPCOS, R.K. Agrawal titled as 'Global Indian of the Year 21-22'

New Delhi: Mr. R.K. Agrawal, Chairman, and Managing Director, WAPCOS & NPCC conferred with the Award for “Global Indian of the Year 2021-2022” by “18th Edition Asia-Africa Business & Social Forum” at a glittering ceremony held at Taj Palace Hotel, New Delhi on 25th August 2022.

Shri Bhanu Pratap Singh Verma, Hon'ble Minister of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, Government of India presented the award to Mr. Ankur Panwar, General Manager, and Mrs. Neha Rawat, Additional Chief Engineers from WAPCOS.

About R.K. Agrawal, CMD, WAPCOS & NPCC

The master's degree holder in Water Resources Engineering and Business Administration has 30 years of rich experience in Planning, Design, and Implementation of Water Resources, Power, and Infrastructure Development projects in India and abroad – Cambodia, Lao PDR, Myanmar, Vietnam, Sri Lanka, Maldives, Mongolia, Tanzania, Mozambique, Rwanda, and South Sudan.

With WAPCOS he is also heading the NPCC Ltd., a Government of India Enterprise under the Ministry of Jal Shakti & subsidiary of WAPCOS.

He has been involved in organizing detailed surveys and field investigations, Preparation of Master Plans, City Development Plans, Feasibility Reports, Detailed Project Reports, etc. Has rich experience in Project Planning, Contract Management, Construction Supervision, and Project Implementation and is actively involved in business development activities of the organization.

Mr. Agrawal has led the successful completion of many prestigious projects both in India and overseas & also credited with forging several collaborative partnerships for expanding the technology portfolio of WAPCOS.
