Coal India celebrated the International Women’s Day (IWD) this year on the theme "Gender Equity." Competitions and cultural programs were organised as a part of the two-day celebrations, in which employees participated wholeheartedly.

Competitions and cultural programs were organised as a part of the two-day celebrations, in which employees participated wholeheartedly. In her address, Dr. Renu Agrawal, President, CILOWS spoke on women empowerment.

Dr. Souvik Chakraborty from The Institute of Neurosciences, Kolkata spoke on the issues with bringing up teenage children and the role of women in creating a stress free environment at home for a healthy household.
