Coal India's Profit soars to Historic High
Around 71.9 MT output is the highest ever for January of any year so far with an 11.5% y-o-y jump.

New Delhi: In only nine months till December of Financial Year 23, Coal India Limited's consolidated profit after tax of 22,597 Crs exceeds the previous high recorded in FY-19 17.464 Crore.
Year-on-year growth is a strong 112% against 10,663 Crs. In yet another record high PAT at Rs 7,719 Crs in Q3 FY'23 zooms up 69%
CIL's Performance peaks in January 2023
Around 71.9 MT output is the highest ever for January of any year so far with an 11.5% y-o-y jump, and the Supply of 53.3 MTs to the power sector is a record level for monthly despatch
The total despatch of 64.4 MTs is the highest for any month in the current fiscal.
