CONCOR achieved a remarkable feat
New Delhi: In FY 2021-22, Container Corporation of India (CONCOR) achieved a remarkable feat, moving a staggering 47.69 million tonnes of cargo volume by rail. This is a significant increase from the previous year's figure of 41.8 million tonnes, and it represents a 13% growth.
This achievement is all the more impressive when you consider that it would require over 5.2 million 9-ton trucks to achieve the same volume. This means that CONCOR has helped to reduce the number of trucks on the road, which is a major step towards a more sustainable India.
