Department of Pension & Pensioners' Welfare organizing various activities to commemorate 75 years of India’s Independence
The Department has started an awareness campaign entitled Series of 75 important Rules for family pensioners to know on social media, which was started from March 2021.
New Delhi: Department of Pension & Pensioners' Welfare is organizing various activities to commemorate 75 years of India’s Independence Bharat ka Amrut Mahotsav. The Department has started an awareness campaign entitled Series of 75 important Rules for family pensioners to know on social media, which was started from March 2021.
In this campaign, two tweets per week are being disseminated through social media during the coming year. These tweets are put in the form of Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs). As on 12-04-2021, 5 Tweets have been disseminated by DoPPW on Rules for Family Pensioners to create awareness.
In another initiative, 75 offices across Ministries/Departments have been identified by DoPPW for extensive training on the BHAVISHYA system. All these offices will be imparted training through VC followed by a question-answer session to clear any doubt. Training on BHAVISHYA (online Pension Processing Module) will be started from April 2021 in multiple sessions across the Central Government Organizations. CAPFs offices covering different locations across the country would also be covered in this regard as a maximum number of cases pertaining to them.
DoPPW has also planned to arrange an online Workshop on Pension Awareness Rules for Senior Central Govt Pensioners/Family Pensioners aged 75yrs and above covering different cities in India. A series of online workshops to be conducted by the department through VC with pensioners aged above 75 years from all over India from May 2021. It would cover a maximum number of cities from all parts of India and workshops will be conducted region-wise. Four such workshops are planned to start from May 2021.
Besides, DoPPW will also publish a Digital Publication of 75 Anubhav write-ups, including those already awarded, selected from the Anubhav portal in which 25 Digital Publications would be taken up per each quarter starting from June 2021.
