Dr. Jain emphasized on increasing the production as per the energy requirement of the nation and dispatch of coal in an environmentally and sustainable manner.

Singrauli: Dr. Anil Kumar Jain, Secretary, Ministry of Coal, Government of India along with Mrs. Vismita Tej, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Coal, Government of India on Thursday, July, 14 visited a CIL subsidiary and a Miniratna company, Northern Coalfields Limited.

During this, CMD NCL Shri Bhola Singh, Collector, Singrauli Shri RR Meena, Superintendent of Police, Singrauli Shri Virendra Kumar Singh, Director (Technical/Project & Planning) Shri SS Sinha, CEO District Panchayat, Singrauli Shri Saket Malviya, Chief Vigilance Officer, NCL Shri Amit Kumar Srivastava and senior officers of district administration and NCL were present.

On Friday, July 15, Dr. Anil Kumar Jain, Secretary, Ministry of Coal, Government of India was given a guard of honor at the headquarters of Northern Coalfields Limited (NCL). On this occasion, he along with Vismita Tej laid wreaths on the miner's statue. 
During this, CMD NCL Shri Bhola Singh, Director (Technical/Project & Planning) Shri SS Sinha, CVO NCL Shri Amit Kumar Srivastava, and senior officers of the company were present.

He also presided over the review meeting at NCL Headquarters. Joint Secretary, Ministry of Coal Smt. Vismita Tej, CMD NCL Shri Bhola Singh, Board of Executive Directors, Chief Vigilance Officer, and other senior officers were present during this meeting.

Dr. Jain emphasized on increasing the production as per the energy requirement of the nation and dispatch of coal in an environmentally and sustainable manner. Also called for adopting business diversification in line with the changing energy scenario. During this he appreciated the performance of NCL.
