DVC, NTPC signs MoU for Renewable Energy Projects in DVC command area

New Delhi: An MOU was signed between DVC and NTPC Renewable Energy Limited for the formation of a Joint Venture (JV) company for setting up Renewable Energy projects in the DVC command area under the UMREPP and CPSU schemes of the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, GoI.
The MOU was signed on 12.03.2021 at New Delhi in the presence of Shri C.K. Mondal, Chairman, NTPC RE Ltd and Shri M Raghu Ram, Member (Technical) DVC, and other officials of DVC and NTPC.
This is a major step towards attaining the Sustainable Development Goals and increasing the share of renewable energy in the total energy mix of the country.
