ECIL Special Campaign 2.0 on Swachhata

As part of Special Campaign 2.0 on Swachhata conveyed by Department of Administrative Reforms & Public Grievances, Government of India, Electronics Corporation of India Limited (ECIL) has undertaken cleanliness activities in the premises of ECIL at ZPHS, Kushaiguda School, Hyderabad on 27.10.2022 from 08.30 am onwards.
The team of ECIL Employees and School Staff have participated in the cleanliness activities such as Cleaning of Debris, Removing of Construction Waste, Grass Cutting, Plogging of Plastic Waste and disposing them properly at the designated place.
By conducting this program, an awareness was created among the students that clean surroundings creates aesthetic look which helps in promoting hygienic, safe and clean environment. At the end of the program, Shri C Munikrishna, AGM (P&A) has briefed the importance of conducting Swachhata activities by quoting Mahatma Gandhi’s saying “Cleanliness is next to godliness” and “Sanitation is more important than independence”. He has advised School Administration to maintain and upkeep the school environment with cleanliness to safeguard the health and hygiene of children studying in the school who are mostly from the lower Economic Strata.
Shri N S Sekhar Babu, Head (ESD), Shri C Munikrishna, AGM(P&A), Shri Bhaskar Reddy (President) and Shri Joshi Kumar R (General Secretary), ECIL Staff and Worker’s Union and Shri J Arun Babu (Working President) and Shri L Mohan Singh (Organising Secretary), ECIL Officer’s Association and other employees of ECIL have participated in large number and made this event successful.
