New Delhi: Engineers India Limited & CSIR-CSIO signed an agreement for joint commercialization of the Earthquake Warning System. Under this agreement, CSIR-CSIO and EIL will jointly commercialize the technology of the “Earthquake Warning System” (Technology "EqWS" developed by CSIR-CSIO in operation for Delhi Metro Rail).
This agreement will not only help save lives in the future but also help both the organizations to increase the scope of application areas e.g. critical infrastructures/installations where this technology can be put to use.
Central Scientific Instruments Organisation is a Chandigarh, India-based national laboratory dedicated to the research, design, and development of scientific, and industrial instruments.
It is one of the constituent laboratories of the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), an Indian industrial research and development organisation situated at Chandigarth's Sector 30C.
