New Delhi: EIL organized a webinar on 28th January 2021 with valve Suppliers, under the leadership of Mr. R K Sabharwal (Director-Commercial), Mr. Rajiv Gupta (ED-Technical) & Mr. Sunil Saxena (ED-Technical). The Meet was attended by representatives from EIL Engineering (Instrumentation, Piping, Pipeline), PDD, and Inspection and suppliers for valves with a participation count of around 140.
In his address, Mr. Sabharwal touched upon various aspects like Govt. policy of domestic procurement up to value of INR 200 Cr through tenders/POs, different alternate enlistment processes to encourage suppliers, opportunities opened by EIL through demonstration/prototype route, Start-up India, Make in India, qualification in NITs (Open tenders) and through Technology.
