Field trial of Indigenous-Automatic Train Supervision on Red Line
On this occasion, an exhibition-themed 'Tracing Delhi Metro's Journey' was also inaugurated at the Kashmere Gate Metro Station
New Delhi: Delhi Metro on the occasion of commencement of the 20th year of operations today, a field trial of the first-ever indigenously developed i-ATS (Indigenous-Automatic Train Supervision) was inaugurated on Red Line by Sh. Durga Shanker Mishra, Secretary MoHUA in presence of Dr. Mangu Singh, Managing Director DMRC
On this occasion, an exhibition-themed 'Tracing Delhi Metro's Journey' was also inaugurated at the Kashmere Gate Metro Station at the same location from where the then Prime Minister Sh.Atal Vihari Vajpayee had inaugurated Delhi's first ever Metro corridor back in 2002.
