Financial Performance of MMTC
New Delhi: Metals and Minerals Trading Corporation of India, has declared its financial results for the nine months ended 31st December 2017.
1. During the nine months, the company has achieved Revenue from Operations of Rs.13356 crore as against the Revenue from Operations of Rs. 9170 crore during the corresponding period last year registering a growth of 146% over the same period last year.
2. Gross Profit from Operations is Rs. 232.96 crore as compared to Rs.172.66 crore during the corresponding period last year.
3. During this period, exports increased by 28% to Rs 1422 crore as compared to Rs 1108 crore during the corresponding period last year.
4. During this period, imports turnover increased by 54% to Rs 10221 crore as compared to Rs 6638 crore during the corresponding period last year.
5. The Company’s performance in other areas also significantly improved- like reduction in Debtors, Inventory, Administrative and other expenses etc.
6. The company has formulated an ambitious plan for doubling of Trade in the next 5 years.
