GAIL Organised Saksham Cyclothon
Bangalore: The Saksham Cyclothon organised by GAIL and pcraindia at Sree Kanteerava Stadium, Bengaluru, today was flagged off by Shri Bhaskar Rao, Commissioner of Police, Bengaluru city and Shri P. Murugesan, Executive Director (Southern Region), GAIL (India) Limited.
More than 3500 cyclists participated in the cyclothon event and pedalled their way round the Cubbon park for over 5 Km distance before finishing at SreeKanteerava Stadium. Ten participants of the Bengaluru Cyclothon 2020 were awarded with new cycles selected through lucky draw.
The event marked GAIL’s commitment towards creating awareness amongst people about fuel conservation and environment protection, while also promoting the use of cycle for short distances, to help in creating a cleaner, greener & healthier environment.
