NEW DELHI- Gail organized a 2 days training/knowledge sharing programme for on 9th-10th Feb 2023, under the aegis of Central Vigilance Commission (CVC), that was attended by 59 Vigilance Officers from 19 CPSEs & their JVs which included GAIL, ONGC, IOCL, BPCL, HPCL, Mormugao Port Trust, New Mangalore Port Trust, Goa Shipyard Ltd and their JVCs.
Sh. P Daniel Secretary, CVC, inaugurated the programme & delivered key note address. Technical sessions were handled by Sh. Shailendra Singh CTE, Sh. Rajiv Verma and Sh. Nitin Kumar, Directors.
Other important dignitaries on the occasion included Shri Sandeep Sarkar CVO GAIL, Shri Ranjan Thakur CVO ONGC, Ms Meenaxi Rawat CVO BPCL, Shri Anant Kumar CVO IOCL, Shri A K Tiwari CVO HPCL, Shri Vijaya Dat Kagita CVO MPT, Shri Sanjay Krishna Navhale CVO GSL and Shri Padmanabhachar K CVO NMPT.
Key functionalities of punitive, preventive and participative vigilance were deliberated upon in the programme.
Theoretical inputs were ably supplemented by learnings from case studies. Participants were also made aware of operational challenges and imperatives and were exposed to new developments in the Oil & Natural Gas sector, such as Green Hydrogen Mission, New technologies in Exploration of Oil & Natural Gas etc.
Team building exercises were also conducted to inculcate and promote a spirit of cooperation and camaraderie.
