The HUDCO family once again came together with a spirited mind to celebrate Women’s Day 2024 across its offices on 7th March 2024.
A large gathering of women employees posted at the corporate office were present on this special occasion which was structured to communicate the ideas and values of the core theme of 2024. To create a lasting impact on the minds of the participants and to drive home the benefits of living in a barrier free world where there is gender equality free of bias, stereotypes and discrimination the occasion was graced by the women achievers from diverse fields to share their successes.
The honoured guests who came forward to share their achievements were:
1.Smt. Dr. (Prof) Mina Chandra , HOD of Psychiatry in RML Hospital
With a wealth of experience in mental health, Dr. Mina Chandra has been at the forefront of addressing psychiatric issues and advocating for mental well-being.
2. Smt. Insp. Kusum Lata SHO Cyber Crime
Inspector Lata broken barriers in the male-dominated field of law enforcement, particularly in combating cybercrime.
3.Smt. Richa Singh, Delhi Metro (Women Driver)
Richa's story of steering through the metro's tracks symbolizes empowerment and the spirit of breaking stereotypes
4.Smt. V. Sarita ,Delhi Transport Corporation (First Women Bus Driver )
The first woman DTC driver has faced numerous adversities, highlighting the importance of courage along with the need for support from family, friends and others.

Each speaker, exemplifying leadership in their fields, shared powerful insights on fostering 'inspire inclusion' through personal experiences, resonating deeply with the audience. Their messages were warmly received, sparking engaging informal discussions. To emphasize the significance of the day and encourage female officials at HUDCO to lead as change agents, Sh. Vineet Gupta, CVO , Sh. Shailesh Tripathi, ED(IT), and other senior officials were present for the entire event.
