New Delhi: Housing and Urban Development Corporation Limited, a Navratna CPSE (HUDCO), taking a significant step towards eliminating malnutrition among children, launched a Milk Scheme in Rajnandgaon, Bilaspur and Mungeli districts of Chhattisgarh. 

This scheme is a CSR initiative aimed at improving the nutrition and health of children.

This scheme was inaugurated today on 30-11-2024 by Shri Tokhan Sahu, Honorable Minister of State, Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, Government of India by distributing nutritious milk in Government School Sendri.

Shri Sanjay Kulshrestha, Chairman & Managing Director, HUDCO, Shri Sushant Shukla, Hon'ble MLA Beltara, Shri M Nagaraj, Director (Corporate), HUDCO and other officers of NDDB and HUDCO were also present on the occasion.

Under this scheme, around 8000 students from 28 schools of the Rajnandgaon district, 43 schools of the Bilaspur district and 27 schools of the Mungeli district will be benefited for one year.

Under this initiative, priority has been given to tribal areas and girls' schools.
