J and K Grameen Bank celebrates 5 years of Digital India
New Delhi: Digital India is a campaign launched by the Government of India on July 1, 2015 under the visionary leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi. J&K Grameen Bank has been providing digital Services since March 2014 and since then has been continuously adding all the new digital trends available in the market The digital services being offered by the Bank include RuPay Debit Cards (Debit / KCC/ PMJDY) ; SMS Alerts ; NEFT/ RTGS ; PFMS ; eCOM/ POS ; POS Machines ; Mobile Banking ; BHIM UPI ; USSD.
The aim is to digitally empower the country and provide a better range of facilities to customers, improve infrastructure, introduce a better quality of life and raise India’s stature in the global scenario.
J&K Grameen Bank (JKGB) is coming up with the same by giving digital infrastructure and is also widening its digital domain at an alarming pace.
Speaking on the occasion of celebration, Chairman JKGB, Janak Raj Angural congratulated the customers as well as the staff of the bank on Bank’s digital achievements and has thanked the clientele of the bank for being associated with the bank and putting trust in Bank’s digital services. He also expressed his gratitude to the Sponsor Bank/NABARD/RBI/NPCI for their steady support in accelerating the digital realm of the bank.
“Bank is providing almost all the latest digital services to its customers, thereby aiding its mission to make India a cashless economy,” he said.
“J&K Grameen Bank has been providing digital services since March 2014 and since then has been continuously adding all the new digital trends available in the market the digital services being offered by the bank,” he added.
Moving on, he said, JKGB shall persist on its way on flattering a digitally advanced bank in future also through the launch of various upcoming projects and initiatives such as Micro-ATM equipped with AEPS / eKYC ; BBPS ; Branch IMPS, etc.
