New Delhi: Jabalpur Airport, owned by the Airports Authority of India, connects Madhya Pradesh to other cities of the nation. The state of Madhya Pradesh is an important center of pilgrimage and Jabalpur city is famous from a cultural and historical point of view. In view of the ever-increasing number of pilgrims and other air passengers here, AAI has expanded the airport.

With this expansion project of more than Rs 412 crore, Jabalpur will emerge as the gateway to the development of the state. Under this project, a new terminal building has been constructed on an area of 10,700 square meters which is capable of serving 800 passengers at peak hours and 10 lakh passengers annually. Besides, this terminal building will also showcase the vibrant culture of the state through its design.
