Jasbir Singh Indian Navy has taken over as Director at MDL

Pune: Commander Jasbir Singh Indian Navy (Retd) has taken over as Director (Submarine and Heavy Engineering) at Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Limited (MDL), the shipbuilding yard of India. An alumnus of the Rashtriya Indian Military College, Dehradun, National Defence Academy, Khadakvasala and Faculty of Management Studies, Delhi, Commander Jasbir Singh served the Indian Navy for more than 22 years.
 
He is experienced in all aspects of shipbuilding, operations and repair, having served onboard frontline warships like INS Mumbai and Kuthar, at Naval Dockyard, Warship Overseeing team, Ship Design & Production Directorates at IHQ at Integrated Headquarters at Ministry of Defence.  During last nine years at MDL, he was Project Superintendent of Scorpene Submarine Project prior to his election as Director.He holds dual master’s degree, in Management from Faculty of Management Studies, Delhi and Mathematical Modelling & Computer Simulation, Pune University.
